As a healer, I hate this pull so god damn much.

In other news the 17th is only 3 days away. I the mean time I enjoy these Star Wars branded oranges that they are selling at my grocery store.

Oranges? Really?

So, we now know that even though the other 2 are crazy, they're not quite Mendiloquence-level-crazy.

(Collectible Star Wars oranges! Get some of those and store them in your freezer. In 30 years, they will be worth thousands on Ebay!)

Yes! I am a healer too and I can relate so much to this! I tell the group every time - let me stun one of the elites. And what happens? Some dps jumps before I've stunned any. Or I mark the one I am going to stun and the dps jumps on it, breaking the cc. Or the tank "tanks" one of the small ones instead of the other elite. Or all of the above. And, of course, after the wipe it's the healer's fault, because "you didn't heal me". Sigh...

"you didn't heal me"

To which the correct response is, "It's Hammer Station; I don't have any heals to use!"

The first boss (the big spider droid) is much worse in this aspect. Before version 3.0, it was putting a stacking debuff on the tank in hard mode only. Not a problem - just the healer (level 55) must know to cleanse him. However, in 3.0 it started doing it in story mode too! And at that level, the healer simply doesn't have a cleansing ability yet. It must be really painful in the 4.0 tacticals, where the mobs hit as hard as in hard mode but the players are just bolstered to level 65, without any new abilities. A lowbie healer with no cleansing ability there must be a guaranteed wipe.

hahaha o man I've been that low level healer.... My group didn't wipe but the tank died. I didn't que again for another flash point until after I had a cleanse.

Oh, and I forgot this. Because the "tank" isn't tanking properly and I, knowing what will happen, have started healing the stupid dps (the one who jumped first) immediately, I get the aggro, so I die first. I respawn in the starting area. A few moments later, the dps join me. Meanwhile, the "tank", seeing that the healer (and everybody else) is dead and he has no chance, RUNS BACK TO THE STARTING AREA. The mobs, of course, follow him there, killing everybody (including the just respawned healer) again.

"you didn't heal me!" Yup, check your combat log ya dumb mara! I dumped all my heals on you because you wanted to act like a tank, even though it didn't help in the end.....

I tell my team to stun the droid I mark and I'll tank the other while our dps takes out the other little ones.

So our Hunter/Healer stuns one of the big droids.

This is where things go wrong...

Our dps, who thinks he's the tank, jumps to the big droid that our healer cc'd. I try to go in and tank for him but he's so squishy that they instagib him. Then they switch to our healer and I have already blown all my taunts trying to save our dps. So they kill our healer. And soon after they kill me they kill our other dps who then find that this is the best time to inform the group that he's never played his class before. And when we tried to do this again from the top our friend the dps-tank does THE EXACT SAME THING AGAIN.

And this is not even the worst of it either.

That hallway in Hammer Station has scores of PC deaths to its name.

It would be amusing to find out that Mendiloquence is really a DPS build pretending to be a tank though.

I'm probably the only person to whom this has never happened. I'm a DPS, but I can tank if necessary, so I can afford to be ignored by the healer for extended periods of time. It was Athiss that I got rekt repeatedly on.

The great thing about scoundrel healing is you can stealth out and let your group mates die for their stupidity while you stand over their corpse...

Not that I've done that or anything...

YOU CAN PROVE NOTHING!

I've done that a time or two. Also on my Shadow. Gotta watch out for the AoE though.
Tried to vanish after someone kicked mobs off the ledge in Koat and agroed the entire room, but got caught in the very edge of an aoe. Entire group wiped. Twice. Just from that one pull.
Before you ask, no. The kick was not from me. I took that ability off my bar for specifically that reason. At the time Koat was a great way to power level, but kicks tended to make things go buggy.

I prefer to tank on a Shadow for the same reason.

...also because I love to use Force Pull on that mob that the Sentinel leaps to--ahead of me--and making him walk back.

I keep mentioning this comic to other PUG members when we get the idiotic tank/mara/sent who jumps on everything that moves and doesn't let CC people have a go.

The other day this exact scenario happened when I had the bad luck of drawing Hammer Station on the daily. Group wiped, what a surprise. ._.

My true bane is Czerka Core Meltdown, though. The repair bills from the desert area are awful.
