Oh dear, yeah. Except it depends on level, really, you can be a 'tank' at level 10, as you can pick advanced class and discipline then, but they don't give you soresu for a level or 5 (can't remember exactly, know it's at least a few levels before 20, and at least 1 after 10).

And actually, to me she looked like she was trying not to sick all over the place. At least Ash didn't roast the party, so her firebugginess is slightly more controlled?

Ash prides her self on the level of control she has with her pyromania. Nearly all of the time only the things she wants to burn catch on fire.

Salih:"Hey Steve, why did you bring Mendi and Ash to our date?"

Steve: "Don't you worry, they are only here to make this evening more romantic."

@Vellev It's a set-up by "unnamed IA companion" to collect data on how much annoyance Salih can stand before she snaps.

@Bobbafettwhere? I stowed away on this ship to make a joke, now I will swim back to shore.

Don't you mean Sith Marauder? I mean, not only does she carry two lightsabers on her belt, but it was stated earlier that Ash and Mendy went to "the Academy" together. :)

Just to clarify (in case there was some confusion) Ash is a sith (in addition to being a pure blood). If I were to give her an advance class designation from SWTOR it would be a Marauder (Mendiloquence is a Juggernaut). Hope that clears things up for everyone. :)

Why a second Warrior instead of a Hunter?

There are several reasons for this. I wanted to show that Mendiloquence actually does have friends who enjoy his company. I needed both Ash and Steve to have known Mendiloquence for a while. The easiest way to do that narrative wise is have them meet at the Sith academy. It also was important to me to show Mendiloquence having a close female friend that he is not romantically involved with.

I know there are a number of you guys out there that are into the Mendiloquence /Ash ship. I won't tell you to stop (hey whatever makes you happy) but they will never become romantically involved with each other.

The other reason is Mendiloquence fundamentally does not view non force users as his equals. In fact, as far as he's concerned, Salih (and to a lesser extent Kaliyo) belong to him in much the same way Vette belongs to him. A bounty hunter, no matter how good they are, would never be his equal.

Thank you for including a platonic male/female relationship. I HATE the assumption that it's not possible. So thank you.

I agree entirely, but I'm not sure that any example of a relationship that includes Mendiloquence counts as evidence that it is normal to have that particular type of relationship. :)

Hmm, they got to the pipe-on-fire scene already? How did it happen so fast? There is a large group of droids and humanoids before that, and even more mobs after that, who can be skipped if the group has a slicer to activate the elevator. Besides healer, I also happen to be a slicer.

"Slicer"
"Don't attack them"
"Wait"
"Come back"
"Oh, why do I even bother..."

I decided to take some creative liberties and not include every group of mobs they would encounter for the sake of pacing.

It's much the same approach I take on planets as well. I don't include every quest just the ones that are important to the plot (and occasionally a few that I am able to write really good jokes for).

And that so happens all the time on my slicer characters.

You know, seeing this comic makes me think about how I'd react to this scene both in game and out.

Out of game, Salih's reaction would be mine; burning to death is NOT a pleasant thing to deal with.

But IN the game? I'm doing the very same thing to make my battles easier. :)
