I'm sorry to do this guys but I just need to take some time off so I can get back into the swing of things. Rest assured that I'm not abandoning this comic, trust me, I haven't even gotten to the REALLY funny parts yet, and I am dieing to show them to you.

If you feel so inclined check back next week I will have something new posted here. What that something is I don't know yet.

Take care of yourself first and foremost. This comic should be FUN for you, not a chore. So take time for yourself to get it back to that.

Well, I'd rather you take a hiatus than to have you quit the comic. Hopefully you'll feel better in two weeks :)

I totally get this. Please take as long as you require to regain your enthusiasm. I know I speak for the majority when I say I am willing to wait patiently for this fantastic comic to continue.

Get as much rest as you need. I can't speak for anyone else, but you've been a real trooper (PUNZ) about getting this comic in on time, and I can't blame you for taking a break. You aren't letting your fans down.

I wish more comic authors who decide to take a break would announce it beforehand, like you are.

It's your comic

At the end of the day, it's your comic. You choose what you do with it, and how often you deliver. You might consider dropping to bi-weekly or monthly.

Additionally if there are bits you want to do, and the current bits aren't so great, then skip them. Skip ahead to a bit you want to do.

For what it's worth I think this comic is great.

No sweat. I'm kind of wondering if you've had any time to *play* KOTOR these days, as opposed to trying to webcomic about it, honestly.

Addendum: Kind of ironically, I loaded up KOTOR today for the first time in a while today (gah, work schedules), just in time to find out they have server maintenance *tomorrow* for an update. :-)

I -think- you mean SWTOR [since KotOR is the console game] ^_^

Oops, right...wrong OTOR. Serves me right for posting half-asleep. :-)

It's a PC game too. But still, KOTOR isn't the MMO. :)

Everyone deserves a break, especially if you are starting to feel burnt out. Enjoy your break and get some r&r. I can speak for the majority of my school when I say that being burnt out is not fun

It's your comic - and I love it.

That said, please, unwind, relax and recover your joy. If you feel the need to fill space here, you can post pictures of your trip.

Or silly limericks. I'll love you in any case!

The real story: After having it explained to her by Vette exactly what it is that she might be required to "watch", Salih has gone on strike and refuses to return to the set, thus bringing production of the show to a sudden halt. Currently her agent (yes, the Agent has an agent) is attempting to renegotiate her contract to add a "I do *not* have to watch that" clause. Take all the time you need, Salih, we totally understand!

Take some time of then, get back your energy and joy as that's what I do every now and then when I get to fed up or tired of something. Currently doing just that with swtor myself and been playing that game without a break since a few months of its launch.

That's a lesson I learned early on when I was into a message-board community along with the early internet social media ICQ back in the late 1990s and early 2000 when I burned out any joy I had in it and it became a choir....was never able to return to it and find my original joy and fun.

So better to back of, recharge and return when you feel you find it fun again.

Take your time and rest up. I very much enjoy seeing this particular "re-imagining" of the story play out, but don't force yourself to do something you're not passionate about. If and when you start up again, folks will come back!

Thanks for all the comics and hard work so far, and best wishes!

^ How cool is that! A celebrity endorsement! :o

So, if you created the storyline that led to the creation of Salih, that essentially makes you Salih's grandparent?

I'd say that's Salih's assessment to make more than mine (but I'll take what I can get).
